Obituary for Maeve Anne Kleisler

Maeve Anne Kleisler
Maeve Anne Kleisler, 56, passed away on July 19, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on August 5,1960 in Islip, New York to John Francis Martin and Patricia Marie Kelly-Martin.

Maeve spent her life selflessly caring for others. As a mother, her tireless loving devotion never wavered. She was a maternal figure to countless neighborhood kids, fellow nurses, and friends; she simply couldn’t help nurturing those who needed it. As a nurse, her patients came to love her as a family member. When not working or caring for her family, Maeve enjoyed listening to Irish music (even writing songs herself), weaving on her loom, going to the beach, and planning vacations to visit the ones she loved.

Maeve was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Marie Kelly, her father John Francis Martin, and her sister, Sheila.

She is survived by her son Philip, and daughters Megan and Erin, whom she loved more than anything else; grandchildren Weston and Sylvie; and her siblings Rosemary, Maureen, Regina, John, Margaret, Delia, Brendan, Bridget, & Siobhan.

Maeve was taken from us too soon- her warmth and kindness will never be forgotten by the many lives she touched; we are all better for having known her.

A Celebration of her life will be 11AM, Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the Arlington Park Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 (904) 724-6384.
