Hershel J.  Bohannon
Hershel J. Bohannon, 84, passed away last Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on November 6, 1932 in Brunswick, Georgia to Levi F. Bohannon and Alma Fountain-Bohannon. Hershel loved to fish and sit with his children to watch the World Series. He was a hard worker and ran his own dry wall business until the age of 70.
Hershel is survived by three sons, Leslie (Bonnie) Bohannon of Jacksonville, Johnny Bohannon of Jacksonville and Jerry Bohannon of Georgia; three daughter, Yvette (Darrell) of Jacksonville, Nicole Loeb of Tampa and Brenda Bohannon of Georgia; step children, Gregory, Ronnie and Holly Sparks all from Georgia.
He has six precious grand children.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of forty years, Betty.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20 from 5-7PM in the Arlington Park Chapel.
A Celebration of his life will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11AM in the Chapel with Pastor Terry Collins officiating.
Entombment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
