John Edward  Cawthon
John Edward Cawthon, 67, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 in St. Augustine, FL. He was born November 14, 1949 in Gainesville, FL. To Grady Cawthon, Sr. and Pansy Hamm.

John retired from State Farm Insurance Co. after 42 years of service. John graduated from Englewood High School and later received his BA Degree from the University of North Florida.

John was preceded in death by his father Grady Frederick Cawthon, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Connie Cawthon, Son, Chad Edward Cawthon, Jacksonville,FL., Daughter, Stacy Cawthon Holland (Patrick), Grandsons Dylan and Gunner Holland, all of St. Augustine, FL. Mother, Pansy Cawthon, Callahan, FL., Brother, Grady Cawthon, Jr. (Kim), Lenexa, KS., Sister, Debby Kidd, (Joe), Callahan, FL. numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday, June 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mandarin Baptist Church, 11244 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. 32223
A Celebration of life will be held in his honor 11:00 AM on Monday, June 19, 2017.

The family would like to express its gratitude to the entire staff at Community Hospice of NE for their care and compassion. The family also asked in lieu of flowers a Memorial Donation be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
