Obituary for Amparo Ursua Pangan

Amparo Ursua  Pangan
Amparo Ursua “Paring” Pangan, 84, born November 23, 1933 in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Eusebio Ursua and Emilia Mandia, passed away peacefully with her family around her on June 5, 2017 at the McGraw Center for Caring Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida.

She graduated from Liwag College in 1954 with an Elementary Teacher’s Certificate. She married Teodulo T. Pangan in August 1959.

The Pangan’s moved to the United States where Teodulo served in the US Navy and Amparo was a homemaker. She dedicated her life to her family. She loved to ballroom dance, garden, cook, and crochet.

Amparo is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Don Freeman; her son, Ted Pangan, Jr.; her daughter, Penny Pangan; her two granddaughters, Julina Jensen and Claire Pangan; her grandson-in-law, Bjørn Jensen and her two great grandsons, Bjørn and Christian Jensen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Teodulo Pangan and her son, Julius Pangan.
