Billy Eugene  Misenheimer
Billy (Bill) Eugene Misenheimer, age 86, son of Chester and Edith (Stump) Misenheimer, who was born March 3, 1931 in Mattoon, Illinois, passed away March 5, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bill served in the Air Force at Ramey AFB Puerto Rico as a tail gunner on a RB-36 during the Korean War. He married Mary Kleiss after his discharge from the Air Force in 1955. Bill moved to Jacksonville, Fl in 1978 and was a parishioner of Resurrection Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4727 and joined the 4th degree serving as a honor guard. Bill also enjoyed a variety of hobbies including painting, gardening and woodworking.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents; 2 brothers Roger Misenheimer and Gary Misenheimer and 1 sister Nancy (Misenheimer) Harper.

He is survived by his 4 children, Mark (Tina) Misenheimer, Dale (Cindy) Misenheimer, Karen (Donald) Suter, and Jo Anne Moore; 8 Grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren.


Interment will be held at 1:00 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
